Denial is spoon-feeding your grandfather his 93rd birthday cake, lighting his cigar for him and telling him you’ll see him at Thanksgiving. I think denial is also another word for love though. I hope we get to eat stuffing and cranberry sauce together again this year and that he enjoys his 121st birthday cake [...]

We were Robbed
Actually, it’s considered burgulary because we weren’t home at the time. Regardless, I am mourning the loss of _all_ of my jewelry. So many personal treasures, and not worth a damn to anyone else. They took other stuff, but nothing I’ve noticed missing meant as much to me.

Over 1 million people on the mall in front of the Washington Monument and me rallying for our rights to make decisions regarding our bodies and to allow other’s that same right.
